Big Rock Brewery appoints new president and CEO to the board of directors
Big Rock Brewery Inc. has appointed its president and chief executive officer, David Kinder to its board of directors, effective Aug. 12, 2026.
Kinder has served as president and CEO of the company since January 2024. During his tenure, he has led strategic priorities focused on operational improvements, growth initiatives and increasing market demand.
The company’s board of directors unanimously approved the appointment, citing Kinder’s understanding of operations and long-term strategy as a valuable addition to the board's existing experience and perspective.
"David has demonstrated exceptional leadership and a strong commitment to creating long-term value for our shareholders," said Stephen Giblin, chair of the board. "We welcome him as a director and look forward to his contributions to our strategy and governance."
Industry experience and leadership
Kinder brings more than 36 years of beverage industry experience to the board. His background includes executive and operational roles at several major companies. Prior to his current experience at Big Rock Brewery, Kinder was the vice-president of operations for Mill Street Brewery for five years, preceded by his role as vice-president of operations Amsterdam Brewing Co. for two years.
In his ongoing role as president and CEO, Kinder remains responsible for Big Rock’s overall strategic direction, operational performance, and growth plans.
