Get ready to be inspired by these 20 amazing initiatives and individuals.

Canada's convenience industry is filled with inspiring and innovative examples of companies and individuals making a positive impact in myriad ways. To shine a light on these commendable efforts, Convenience Store News Canada this year launched the Impact Awards, which recognize initiatives introduced by retailers, suppliers, distributors and industry partners that are making a meaningful difference in a range of important areas, from helping the plant to championing diversity, equity & inclusion, and community service.

Nominations opened in May and closed at the end of August, generating amazing engagement.

From uniforms made of recycled materials to saving bees, sourcing responsible cocoa, planting trees, caring for caregivers, investing in eco-friendly coffee cups, preserving historical buildings, reducing waste, making sure people don’t go hungry and taking a stand in the name of the greater good, this industry is full of amazing companies doing good for their people, communities and the planet. These efforts deserve a spotlight.

Convenience Store News Canada is thrilled to present 20 inaugural 2022 Impact Awards winners and share their inspiring stories: We strongly believe actions big and small have a key role to play in making this world a better place.
