LCBO names Aaron Campbell as president and CEO
Aaron Campbell has served as the organization's interim leader since Feb. 1, 2026. His permanent appointment brings continuity to the beverage alcohol retailer and wholesaler during a time of ongoing marketplace transformation.
"Over the past nine months, Aaron has demonstrated the steady, thoughtful leadership needed at an important time for the LCBO and Ontario’s beverage alcohol marketplace," said Carmine Nigro, chair of the LCBO board of directors. "His deep understanding of the organization, extensive public-service experience, and strong relationships across the industry give the Board confidence that he is the right person to lead the LCBO forward."
Strategic focus and business operations
Under Campbell's leadership, the LCBO will remain focused on maintaining solid operations and delivering efficient, effective service. The organization's ongoing business priorities include maintaining a strong people and culture agenda, championing local Ontario producers, and delivering value through both its wholesale and retail operations.
"It is a privilege to lead the LCBO and the dedicated people who bring our public mandate to life every day," said Campbell. "Having worked alongside teams across the organization, I have seen first-hand the knowledge, care, and commitment they bring to serving our customers, partners, and communities. I look forward to building on that strength as we continue to evolve and deliver for the people of Ontario."
