Rabba Fine Foods is celebrating the opening of its 36th marketplace in the Greater Toronto Area, with a new location on the corner of Richmond and Victoria Streets in the heart of Toronto’s financial district.

“Opening our 36th market, especially at such a central location, is a great way to start the new year,” says Rick Rabba, president of Rabba Fine Foods. “We are so proud of our team. We are thankful that we have the opportunity to open a store that will provide so much fresh food and so many healthy options to this ever-growing community.”

The new location carries everything from organic produce, and fresh meats to snacks and meals. The store is the fourth Rabba location to offer a full meal take-out service under the Rabba Kitchen by Paramount name. The in-store kitchen offers a variety of hot and fresh meals, which can be made to order or, for those on the run, a varied menu of hot-to-go meals are ideal for  busy workers in the neighbouring office towers.

In December 2020, Rabba announced it had partnered with Paramount Fine Foods, a well-known restaurant group with a Middle Eastern menu, to rebuild Rabba’s in-store prepared foods menu. Rabba Kitchen by Paramount debuted at the base of a condo tower in Toronto’s revitalized Regent Park neighbourhood.

The downtown neighbourhood is open 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year.

As part of its efforts to build ties in the community, the new Rabba location has reached out to several local organizations to offer support through its community giving program, Rabba Roots.

“We are always looking for new ways to support our local neighbourhood,” says 2022 Star Women in Convenience winner Rima Rabba, who spearheads the company’s Rabba Roots Community program. “Giving back is an important part of who we are, and it’s a privilege we do not take for granted.”

The Rabba Roots program was a winner of the 2022 Impact Awards
